Maryland's amateur Muay Thai circuit.
MTAAC (the Muay Thai Amateur Athletic Circuit) is where Maryland's gyms put their fighters on a real card: matched fairly, sanctioned properly, and recorded for good. We run single-evening fight nights built around clean matchmaking, so every athlete gets a bout that makes sense for their weight, experience, and record.
Give amateur fighters a real stage.
Fair matchups
Bouts are made by a matchmaker on weight, experience, and record, not by a bracket. If a fight isn't right, it doesn't get made.
A record that's yours
Every result is logged. Win or lose, your MTAAC fight history follows you from card to card and gym to gym.
Done right
Waivers, medicals, weigh-ins, and trained officials. The serious parts are handled so fighters can focus on the fight.
From sign-up to the final bell.
- 01
Register
Fighters (or their coaches) sign up for an upcoming card and upload the documents needed to compete.
- 02
Get matched
The matchmaker pairs fighters into bouts. Both sides confirm before a matchup is locked onto the card.
- 03
Weigh in
Fighters make weight and get cleared. The card goes final and the public fight card goes live.
- 04
Fight night
Bouts run in order with trained judges and officials scoring round by round. Results post to the archive.
Run under recognized bodies.
MTAAC events are run in coordination with the sanctioning and oversight bodies that keep amateur Muay Thai safe and legitimate:
